2624 Product Update:

We are proud to announce that we are gearing up to release our team race jerseys, both XC/Enduro and DH/4x. You may have noticed a few of these about already, currently worn by our team riders, we've had numerous enquirys after them so we thought, 'why not'.

These will be up for sale in our product section in the coming weeks.

Nemesis Project Bars!

We have just received in another shipment of Nem-Pro bars in a range of sizes and colours. We've had such an overwhelming response to this stunning gear that we have been left with rapidly depleting stocks well before our next due shipment.

So if you're keen on a new set of bars, get in quick! . . . Or you could just put off riding, and wait for our next shipment. . . . . .due in store soon.

SRAM 2010 Australian MTB Championships
Friday 15 - Jan - 2010

The National champs were held 12-17 Jan, with some damn fine racing accross the board considering weather throughout the weekend.

Our newest team rider Cam Ryan did a damn fine job, especcially for his first Aussie champs, managing to pull a Second place in the Junior Hardtail Downhill aswell as a Second in the Under 17 4X.

We've even managed to sneak a podium shot.

New team rider:

We are proud to announce our newest team rider Cameron Ryan.

Cam has been racing the Junior U19 and U15 devision in Downhill, both hardtail and full sus. Last season Cam ended up State Champion for U19 Hardtail Downhill and 4th in U15's Downhill.

He will be representing us down in South Australia and will be riding an assortment of MacMahone and Arrow Racing gear - Keep your eyes peeled!

Cam also has his sights set on some Mountain-Cross racing in the future as well as the National Champs - But in the mean time while we are waiting for the new season to officialy take off, we have some shots from last season showing some of Cam's skills on the tracks & who to look out for in the coming races.

Sneak peak into new products:

Some changes have been happening here at 2624. We are starting to break into the road bike scene. Nothing will change with our line of quality mountain bike and street gear, we just thought that it would be a positive step to broaden our horizons.

To start off the new range we are giving a sneak peak into just a couple of items in our new line, Dont be fooled, Much much more is to come, such as a full set of carbon race wheels in a range of sizes, race bars and seat posts as well as frames and other anonymous goods.

Full Carbon Fibre bottle cage: A tight fit cage so your bottle wont come loose whilst maintaining weights at just 18g!

Nemesis Project / KOWA Tuned forks:

We have just had our first small batch of these amazing forks arrive, with limited availability, so get in quick to pick up one of the best DJ, Street and 4X forks you will ride.

These forks are Made in Japan and Feature Hydraulic bottom out control, Kashima coated internals for high sensitive bump performance, adjustable rebound control, radial disk mounts, 5 axis CNC machined crown, 65mm or 70mm of buttery smooth travel, a thick 35mm stanchion and 20mm axle.

We have recently receive some fresh samples off the CNC from our friends at TNN Engineering. These guys are one of the most innovative manufacturers out their. The top caps are torque tested, light weight and to top it off, they are Aussie made!

With the recent passing of the Australian 4-cross season, we were lucky enough to have one of the more experienced riders racing for us in the veterans. Stuart MacLauchlan had a great series and came out with 1st place overall. Stu was racing on his newly acquired Arrow DSS-3 frame with Blitz tyres (shown below). The new setup has been a large head turner and has also got a few others worried about the new approaching season.

Racing next to Stu for the season on his Arrow frame, Mic Longhurst had a great season finishing up in 5th overall.
